I heard one pundit on MSNBC mention the current state of what the Republican Party wants. It is what the GOP and the Whip party that spawn it always wanted, money and power. The sole reason they allowed Trump to be their candidate in 2016 and 2020.

He was famous, a celebrity with a preexisting fanbase that would follow him into the gates of hell if needed. That 30% of followers his polls always showed are the group of followers that’s his since he descended into the lobby of Trump Tower in 2015. …

Well, the hearing was very COVID life as usual via Zoom and took less than 5 minutes. The hearing started late and the judge seemed to be new at this Zoom hearing stuff. He was swearing at me before he introduced the case. Though, I can overlook all as he went out of his way to assure, he said both Maldonado and Nur correctly.

That could be for legal court purposes, but it was still an endearing thing for him as the judge. My soon to be wife was worried I was going to quizzed on Islam. …

My thoughts while watching the defense of Trump on day 1 of Impeachment 2 was that question. The defense on the whole was a train wreck, and the House manager masterfully used the video of the event of the Capital violence. Blue Lives Matter people siding with insurrectionists is beyond my tolerance.

Usually, I try to be a historian and a political scientist at times like this in history. This is a very historical time. Yet, it is also a sad stupidly split time of division to a comical extent. Everyday all that is Trump seems like a comedy skit.

Cowards and followers are all that is left in the GOP now after 40 years of lies, tricks and racism. Bigotry and division are all that benefits the “Party of Lincoln” and more. Reagan began much of the racism in the “welfare queens” and the huge tax cuts for the wealthy.

That so-called “revolution” fueled my division and resentment that white people were missing out on things the “other,” poor brown people, got because they needed it. Those resentment filled white people cared not that the poor NEED that help to survive, they just wanted some of what “they” got.

Time and time again, facts, stats and voting data show that Republicans thrive when voting is limited by limited access to voting. The GOP Thrives when there are less votes, access to the ballot box and actual democracy. This is aided and abetted by non-democratic measures of Gerrymandering, less vote by mail, less voting information.

The opposite of everything that is truly just and right about this democracy in these United States of America is literally what Republicans want and deal. Living in blood red Texas for my whole life has made this very clear in my lifetime. …

Texodus, or my Texas exodus, as I termed it years ago was then to be to California. That direction may change, if the job that Eric Griggs is assisting me in North Carolina is successful. His connections to friends and frat brothers in a place rife with colleges in need of history and political science professors and instructors.

Hope is that I can get that job with an innovative different approach to teaching students. As my idol and favorite political science professor showed and made his method in making students interact with the materials we study and not just memorize…

The recent actions of Republicans show they chose to be obsolete instead of throwing the conspiracy theories out of her leadership in Congress. I see that as a fitting end to the GOP as a party, since they welcomed Trump into the fold. That bargain purely for power and money is how doing all deals with the devil go.

Things might work for a short time, but the riot and attack on the people’s house in the US Capital should mean conviction for Trump. That verdict should carry a ban from ever holding a national office again. …

Every time I am asked for my race and ethnicity, I always check Native American and Hispanic with white as my racial makeup. As opposed to my father who always said Non-Hispanic White, as Mother tells me, he did that to get along with the usually white powers that be, and Mexican was like a curse word then. I see this as more assimilation of the Natives into the takeover of the White-Anglo European emigration.

I always took it on myself to represent the brown muted side of my heritage. The Anglo side of my heritage was always oppressed and…

As the reality of post COVID and GOP hold on the Senate settle-in, a new approach to climate change and legislation are in the works. GM and the government shifted to electric cars, and the all-time lows in the cost of oil are to blame. Exxon-Mobile is losing money, like it once made it, and their hold on politics is over as they can’t pay off Republican legislators as they did.

I say go Google it if you want to fact check these words, or you can go watch the first segment of The Rachel Maddow show from Wednesday, Feb…
