The page turns, the sun rises, and suddenly we realize January 1, 2022, sure feels a lot like December 31, 2021. Ain’t that how every new year happens? We all built it up like a sudden change will happen.

Yet, life keeps on ticking by, and we keep living how we’ve been for a while now. Well, that’s how my life’s been for the last decade or so. The benchmarks of college, grad school, disease, and not marriage are how I will tick off my days, months, and years now.

The new treatments of Ocrevus will likely start in the spring, and I am almost certain that I will meet with my wife the month before that. I say, “almost certain,” as she has things going on and that’s the only time, she is free to meet up with me.

I dodge sharing details as that has gone wrong for me before, so vague descriptions are all you get now.

Hopes are that nothing is delayed or stopped from COVID or any other issues beyond my control.

I pray that 2022 can begin with a whisper and an atom bomb going off as it did with Mom’s death in 2021.
