Ask any random person what they think they are doing in their lives and likely most will retort that they are doing the best they can. It is that egoism, hubris, pride, or are they truly doing their best as they say. Playing one’s positive traits up in conversation and claiming such things is natural.

Egoism, hubris, and pride are vile things to most people that are ones that you want to know. Others that those qualities attract are usually the type of people that you’d rather not know. As I sit on the thirteenth day of January in the year of lord 2021, I wonder if people that are full of themselves see what they are doing that repulses most good people.

Or as some that don’t like to be so nice to jerks, “can they smell what they are shoveling?” I think at times even the most egoistic person in the world can recognize that they are “shoveling.” Yet, why do they continue? Do they enjoy being outcasts and exiles pushed away from others?

I ask this after being questioned about my own motives about this blog and my vlogging.

I do this to teach and help others, not to brag about my failures and bad health.

What platform do I have to stand on where I brag about all that is wrong in my life?
