This old phrase of freedom and truth is never realer than now. Science denial, “misinformation,” lies from a whole political party, straight propaganda from a new network.
What has truth come to and where are the people we could once trust?
What hath Trumpie wrought?
A world where we cannot trust anything but pure unaltered, diagnostic, clean disciplined science. The fact that I can’t do math well is all that stopped me from being a scientist or doctor. Failures at seventh-grade math begot life with little to no math on my way to a master’s diploma.
Now, as we revel in the algorithmic, machine learning, artificially intelligent, data science driven world of now begs us all to be a scientist or doctor. Or maybe that is just my geeky science loving but can’t do science well myself. This is not an expose on my failure to be a scientist or doctor, this is my wondering about the world of today.
