From Facebook to Bangladesh, our love is far from “normal.” (Courtesy Photo)

(is a commitment to act in the best interests of another person or entity. Broadly speaking, a fiduciary duty is a duty of loyalty and a duty of care. That is, the fiduciary must act only in the best interests of a client or beneficiary. And the fiduciary must act diligently in those interests.) Source

I must admit that I often defend and question people’s hate and want to stop using Facebook and other social media. I always suggest that it is how one uses it that defines whether, whatever social media they are railing against, is really the issue. A deeper mental health issue might be the source and whatever the social media is using to exploit them.

I met my now wife, Fatema, on Facebook, so I see that I have a fiduciary responsibility toward Facebook and most other social media. She wouldn’t have ever seen me if I had not committed myself to a year long challenge of vlogging every day on Facebook. All that our love, kids, and family are thanks to the decision to post every day and to be accountable.

I stopped doing Facebook live every day a while ago after well over the one mark. I don’t recall exactly how far over one year I got but it was well over 365 days.

Thanks to Facebook and that 365 day accountability group was due, so that’s what this is.

Thank you for the opportunity to meet the love of my life and make my life way better than it was without my wife Fatema.
