Some talk of a shift in the general public from house phones being the norm of all people, to the cell and now smart phones being the norm. The connectedness of everyone to everyone everywhere with apps and social networks that have the power to unite us as humanity or divide us for profit. The gamification of eyeballs seeing every post for everything under the sun is now the profit stream for valuable public entities that turn everyone against each other.

Of course, it all depends on how one uses the information people share on social media. Yet, the companies that make millions and billions off their users, us, SHOULD car who what they profit from.

Division of the post millennial generations is so sad when one considers how far apart we all are with the ease of texting and calling others. Classmates that can’t even care enough to exchange school or personal email addresses.

Coworkers that act like they really don’t know friends from work like a scene from the Apple TV series Severance, good show BTW.

I can remember trying to call classmates on the phone and making a HUGE deal out of it.

“It’s a local call Mom. I swear there will be no outrageous long-distance charges!”
