Diabetic Cyborg Life 11/30: Day After MS Sub-Specialist

This will be that day after my appointment with my new sub-specialist neurologist in Texas. That hope is that I will start on better new infusion medication quickly after this appointment as I spoke of before. The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas website for my plan says they don’t cover any infusion medications I am hoping to wind up getting.

Both pharmaceutical companies offer discount programs for financial assistance, and I will no doubt be using them. I did the annual Healthcare.gov application for health insurance for 2022. I laughed heartily as they said my expected income for all the data I input was -$6,200.

That in the face of the fact that Texas Health and Human Services will not approve me for Medicaid or any other benefits. They say they need bank statements and other forms, yet they still reject me after I submit everything.

How someone that makes -$6,200 and only gets Social Security Supplemental Income Issuance, SSI, can’t get Medicaid is beyond my understanding.

I was on it and got SNAP food benefits before moving to Charlotte.

Is Texas just exacting vengeance for my leaving or what?
