… Aside from Texas’s seemingly punishing me for leaving, things seem to be going well for now. This statement of Texas’s revenge was a shared idea, as I restart my mental health care. The initial meeting with my social worker, yes, I finally got one, at the local Community Healthcore, was a success.

She shared that she was just resettling into life in Texas herself and we both related back to this state recently. The option was that she could help me get mental health meds with or without counseling. So, I chose it, as I recently stated that I might need it after Mom’s death. She and I had a good groove of conversation in this first meeting, and I foresee us having a good rapport in therapy.

I hope this good restarting of my relationship with a social worker is a good thing.

She apologized for not discharging me when I left for Charlotte to start, but told her I am back, so all is cool there.

Getting my head on straight and having a social worker that can advocate for me with Texas HHS for other social benefits is definitely not a bad thing. .…
