We always have a choice in life no matter what anyone says about the circumstances we are in. These times of shutdown and stay-at-home orders are times of science and logic versus division and discord to follow those two guides or not. Following the scholarship and reason of those nation-states that fought through this outbreak already is not a question of duty or revolt.

Instead, it is a debate about life and death for those most threatened by this microorganism terrorist. The aged and those with chronic conditions, as I have, are at the greatest threat. Not to make this a debate of any kind, I instead, see it’s a question of humanity and caring for the lives of those threatened already.

Those that protest claim their rights of freedom to live as they want, yet I ask them, what of our rights to simply live? Do your rights to “be free” supplant our simple right to live? Please consider the lives of the aged and disabled that have chronic conditions that make surviving this disease all that less likely.

The depths of sorrow that many with the conditions of complicated diabetes, neurological issues and conditions of age must endure daily make this microorganism terrorist deadly.

Please just consider us when you step out and speak out about the perceived “tyranny” you face.
