Eating and health was always an issue for me as a child. I was made fun of for being fat when I was certainly not. I ate to deal with those emotions and fulfilled those taunts until I was overweight. I was 285 lbs. in high school and dodged football coaches daily that wanted me to be linemen.

The diabetes and well, any longtime readers know the rest. Type 2 diabetes from 2002 ‘till 2018, and now I am VERY diabetic. The test, I-A2 Autoantibodies, IS the test to show diabetes and how a pancreas is doing.

The range is <.7.5 is Negative, or no diabetic, and > or = 7.5 is positive or diabetic, and my result was 92. So, yes, that pancreas is done. I am VERY diabetic as this test proves. This amazing test was not done before now in Charlotte.

Another time I find myself asking, WTF Texas doctors! I just am happy to have people that care about me, and seemingly know more about what I need.

This life is one that has the usual ups and downs, I just pray for more ups now!
