Diabetic Cyborg Life 8/18: A Loud Silence

What followed all the online and in person interviews, nothing. A few “we regret to inform you” emails from the few colleges I applied for, but otherwise I heard nothing. In hindsight I almost wish all would’ve been short with me and just cut me off at the knees as soon as they heard no teaching certification.

I guess the placebo of hope was worth the wait, but was it really, I ask myself…
