Diabetic Cyborg Life 9/10: Health & its Affects Pt. 1
The bladder and kidney issues are both new but are just logical things that might happen as I age with type 1 diabetes and multiple sclerosis, or MS. Making dreams of my life happen in the face of logic and effects of my illnesses is what my life is now and will be. Doing my best is what my mother showed me is the key to getting our dreams in our lifetimes.
Falling short of getting a teaching job and being part-time for a virtual academy is a piece of what I desired. My health issues make that and so many other things a piece, or taste of what things could be. That simple bit or taste is enough to make me desire more, yet I can’t have the whole thing.
The struggle in my life is exactly this practice of tasting or getting a faction of what could be if I were healthy. It can be enough to drive me mad if I let it be. I just think at least I am getting an idea of the greater whole.
