Diabetics’ Drama
Blood sugar highs,
Blood sugar low,
Where the blood glucose will be,
No one really knows,
Blood test meters can read it,
CGM’s can monitor it,
But only the finger prick blood test can truly know.
The mental health toll is unreal,
The emotions we all feel,
Like acid in our veins,
Or an ice pick in our brains,
We just want to live like we are not in chains.
