I have thought this whenever I witness passive-aggressive emotional abuse more times that I can count. I swear every relationship I have seen some kind of form of passive-aggressive emotional abuse going on since high school. East Texas is not the best place to experience a “normal” loving relationship. One partner, usually the women here, is insanely desperate not to have a break up they will put up with the worst a-holes in the world. I guess that is one reason I have never had a relationship. I am unwilling to have someone around that does not check me on my treatment of others and is willing to call me on it when I treat someone in an unkind way.
