Romancing the Insulin Pump
Carb ratio, oh carb ratio,
Where fore art though carb ratio.
Diabetes is a harsh lover,
Teeth that bite with no warning,
Claws that make you finger bleed like needles.
The pump was supposed to make it so much easier,
With only a couple of pricks a day,
But now I find the sensor just more demanding of blood than without.
