Thank you Brian for having the mental and physical strength to post this. I can totally relate in many ways, though I did do the GoFundMe thing for a minute. That did not yield much in the end. I got more from private donations via Paypal. The sleep cycle thing is still a fight for me. I am Up at 2 am and asleep by 6 pm most days. I just seem to function better that way. Plus now my doctor appointments are all “as early as possible” now so that would take some reworking if I ever changed my circadian rhythm.
Chronic illnesses do make us appreciate things and view life way differently as you say though. I had to remember what the “normal” plan for my life was when I went for my disability hearing. I guess that worked though since I won it.
We people with chronic illnesses got support each other. Our invisible illnesses can’t make us totally invisible to people. Love your posts and keep it up Biran! 😁
