Thank you for this reminder of one of the most important life lessons I ever learned. Self-love quickly became my #1 priority when I was diagnosed with MS last year. Physical and mental health is what I do these days. Self-love and knowing I am worth it and making sure I see the next day are a daily task for me.
As you said, self-love can be affirmations if you use it to get your mind right to actually practice some appreciation toward yourself. Remembering that I am worthy is something I make sure I do everyday. We all need to practice self-love or things can get messy.
