Thank you Jessica for an academic level look at this subject. I think we are all damaged in one way or the other. It’s hard to escape trauma of some kind now. My heart goes out to people that are damaged by home life involving the family. My childhood was in a loving single parent house, so I know that can be hard enough. I can only imagine if abuse was involved.
