Thank you Kris for this honest take on the boundaries that ought be in place for us to grow as people. Sometimes “leaving home” is fraught with terror or fear with all the ways life can be so turbulent in early adulthood. Personally my life is still so dependent on family I never made that move. That lack of mobility and development is all thanks to income, health, education and economic of East Texas. Our location is a total inhibiter of what my brother and I wanted out of life. Sometimes I wonder how life could be if the bumpkin Texas way was no our norm. Then again, we could be in Mississippi or Louisiana.

Now I depend on my family for rides everywhere and my health care until this year. The fact is also a reason I still “live at home.” 😁❤️
