Our problem as a nation now is that we all face an election where a majority of Americans hate both candidates. We are locked in a system that’s been corrupted by dark money and forces that only wish to enrich themselves not for the betterment of all Americans.
Only a ground grassroots level movement that works its way up like the progressives in the mid 20th century. That progressive era was why the New Deal and so much of that time’s legislation came to be under FDR and Truman afterwards. I came from the people to the national rather than international stages. That is how American politics have worked and will always work.
Barack Obama went from the state Illinois Senate before the U.S. Senate and finally the Oval Office in 2008. That progression is what all much follow in America.
Yes, modern times have changed a lot in the world, but American elections still take a few election cycles to filter up to the general national election.
Obama’s rise was about as quick as America can get.
A community organizer/civil rights attorney, state senator, U.S. Senator, and then POTUS in 1993 to POTUS in 2008.
We have to get this election right by defeating the fascist menace that is the GOP and reminding the rest of the world America is a trustworthy ally.
