Well, I trust my life to my neurologist. She is one of the best-recognized doctor’s in Texas, and she has never done my wrong. I only get the treatment, steroids in every case so far, when I know I have brain lesions. The Copaxone is to help prevent more and to greatly diminish the lesions that do still occur.
I know that RMS is a horrible thing to deal with. I am just unlucky enough to have type 1 diabetes and 3 other autoimmune diseases on top of it. I am convinced more everyday my first PCP I had. He has since moved on to be a hospitalist. I believe he was right in thinking I have an autoimmune disorder that is causing all issues since 2005. That is when I first saw him in late November of that year.
I just wish that I could finally treat the cause and no the symptoms and finally know what autoimmune disfunction is causing everything I am now suffering from.
Thank you again for caring and engaging me in this discussion. I live for them now. 😁
